Besides enjoying the view...

Cycle amongst the old olive trees

There are four bikes and some amazing cycle routes. Cycle to the top of the hill behind the house for some well earned incredible views.

Have a table tennis competition

Sadly getting a real tennis court in the middle of a national park was out the question but we have the next best thing.

Stargaze

Sit poolside and try to spot stars with the Celestron NexStar 4SE telescope … or cheat and let it automatically take you on a guided tour of the universe.

Cosy up for a film night on the roof

Set up the projector for an alfresco film night sitting on cushions by the pool, on the law or on the roof by the warmth of the firepit.

Pick fruit from the garden

There is nothing better for headspace than foraging from the garden.

There are numerous fig trees and almond trees, from when the land was farmed for almonds about 100 years ago, a huge vine, pears, lemons, pomegranates, oranges.

We think you can make aloe vera from the ginormous cactus.

Or failing that, prickly pears are abundant… Prickly Pear Margarita!?

Clear the mind… walk, run or cycle around our favourite 5 mile loop

And break the journey by stopping at the coffee shop Estilos for a macchiato, ice cream and much needed glass of water.

Do yoga on the roof

There are some yoga mats at the house.

Eat good food, obviously

Cook yourself up a feast on the inbuilt stone BBQ. Alternatively we can arrange a cook, BBQ or panzerroti evening.

And head to the sea

Casapietra is an 8 minute drive or 20 minute cycle to the sea.

There are beach clubs, lidos, or just find a spot and jump in off the rocks
